Akshara Manèy is an enriched space for learning and flowering in goodness for the inquiring minds. Our Center is a place for growing in freedom and responsibility, a space which doesn't depend upon tools such as comparison or competition to be educated, we believe in observational, experiential and application based learning for children and adults.

J. Krishnamurti, where educators, parents and interested adults gather to understand oneself in their relationships with humanity and with nature. Children of such parents are welcome to grow in leisure, unbound by time & dogmas and flower in goodness at Akshara Manèy.

At Akshara Manèy, we believe that every individual is born with intelligence to ignite a learning and thinking mind. For such a phenomenon to happen naturally, it needs a conducive environment where childhood is spent in exploring and learning from nature, to excel in academics, to be competent, to understand that life exists in creating beautiful relationships with nature and people around.
Akshara Manèy gives equal importance to both the child and the adult's psychological well being alongside achieving excellence in all activities. Children grow organically while learning to balance every challenge and along with adults get to explore, discover, learn and apply their learning immediately with regular exposure to various theme based concepts.

Akshara Manèy Nature Shaalèy, nestled amidst a vibrant green campus, off Kanakapura Road in South Bengaluru, is more than just a school. It's a nurturing space where children aged 6-16 embark on a joyful journey of discovery, guided by the wisdom of nature and inspired by the philosophy of
Jiddu Krishnamurti.
We have designed our curriculum in an interesting and integrated manner by bridging the academic & technical knowledge along with self awareness & inner journey as our approach. Curriculum is customised by choosing selected academic concepts required for a certain project, seamlessly blending it with need based projects and implementing the same in day to day activities in a more practical atmosphere. Accordingly we have included activities such as Organic Farming, Food and Nutrition, Woodwork and Practical Engineering, etc... Such activities build confidence in oneself from early years in a child.

The syllabus is tailored to provide the essential academic concepts for a specific project, smoothly combining them with project-based needs and implementing them in everyday tasks in a tangible setting.

Balance
The curriculum is enriched by incorporating seasonal activities such as Organic Farming, Food and Nutrition, Woodwork and Practical Engineering, which help to build confidence in a child from a young age. On a daily basis, children have the opportunity to balance their academics through engaging activities like arts & crafts, music, dance, theater, martial arts, yoga, gardening, walks and team games, as well as practical tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
